EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Ti-Tuesday, took a not-a-step this weekend, bent my pinky back and ripped the skin at the joint, 8 stitches and limited use of the left hand.😥 The button lock comes in handy when only one hand is involved.

ouch. take it easy and get well soon, Martin.

The drive was to go see Hermiston where Rose's family homesteaded when they came out on the Oregon trail. It was a 650 mile loop all in Oregon. We went through coastal rainforest, high mountain ponderosa, high desert, canyon lands, rolling grasslands and Columbia River gorge. We found agates in the Ochoco National Forrest and jasper at the legendary John Day river. I'd never seen the wind farms with their 650' tall wind turbines before. It was startling how suddenly things changed from one clime to another. Turn a corner and you go from desert to forest, at another time we climbed up out of a ravine to suddenly be in wide open grasslands.

Looking good! Did you have any issues with the blade edge contacting the backspacer in the original configuration? I have a damascus Skyline and the edge hits the backspacer pretty bad. I took as much material off the backspacer as possible without grinding into holes where the backspacer screws go through. I was thinking that maybe I could find some standoffs that would alleviate the problem but there might be too much pivot lash for that even.

Not sure, I didn’t notice if you mean the black backspacer, but on this one there’s plenty of clearance.
