Morning. Office day today - i.e., small knives :(

Small as in 3" No-Choil Skinny Slicer? I've not had a 3" XM18 yet, but sure do love my 3.5" NCSS, and would gladly pick up the smaller version if it indeed exists and was available to see if it was a fit. I've also been interested in the liner-lock versions of the smaller XM, but have seen very few of those. 3-inchers seem to be generally hard to find altogether.

This one is 3.5, CP. My larger Skinny Slicer is 4".

For my part, the last few days have been spent with one or the other or both of these two since my Dama 31 arrived, using the 21 Micarta in work situations and carrying/fondling the new one otherwise. The 31 has an April, 2020 birthdate and seems to have been basically unused since. It was pretty damn stiff when it came as folders can get when they just lie around. I opened it up this morning and was surprised at the gooey blackness of the overaged lube as it didn't look like caked up CRK grease. Maybe someone added some oil to try to loosen it up.

Anyway, it's all cleaned up now with washers polished, pivot re-lubed, and the action is smooth, flickable, and free-dropping with the lock bar pressure off. I looked to pick-up a JtoH backspacer for it, but Bill's out of stock on that one right now, so I'll probably tie something up either using the existing pin or just take it out and go through one or both holes for now.

Here, on the jobsite yesterday...
