Farid Mehr just completed a batch of his mini K-2's. I've always loved his style of bowie. 3.9" blade steel is D3 tool steel, chisel ground.

Now .... to be honest, still working on fixing it. This is when it arrived two weeks ago:

I met the 18 wheeler who delivered it (from NC to CA) at night downtown (he wouldn't fit on our street), and it was not driveable, had to tow it home. Couple of electrical issues (signal and break lights, short in the seat heater draining the battery, only one window works, etc.); should be done fixing them this week-end, hopefully. And have a Californian number plate, too.
