I decided to give QSP another chance. This one was almost good. There are things I like but also a few issues.

The drink was a whiff too. I like the regular Basil Hayden. The idea of a rye from them was novel. I took a quick look at the blurb but I was distracted and in a hurry. I thought it was rye whiskey that had been stored in a port cask. I've had other whiskeys stored in sherry casks before, so I didn't really think about it. Well, I thought wrong! This is something entirely different. While still 80 proof, it's a blend of Kentucky Straight, Canadian Rye, and port wine. I was not impressed. Neither was anyone else...

At least the smoke was decent.
