I tried to reply to todays and yesterdays post with your Sebenza, either way to bad there is only 7 days a week, it only option I see to get the guys out is carry two a day.I wish!!Left to right is AB iMamba, Gareth Bull original Shamwari, and a Matt Bailey. (Did I miss a joke or a que?)
I will have another Sparrow on the way, but I wanted other folks to be able to experience Josh’s fantastic front flipper…so I’m just waiting patiently.
I’ve had a sneak peak at the new Sparrows, and let me tell ya…it’s hard not to buy them all. The next drop will be something else. You may want to be over carpet when the photos drop so that your chin has something soft to land on.
REK Knives
Nice to see the Trager getting some use, two birds what I wouldn’t give for a slice for a sandwich with fresh tomatoe.
If you don’t mind me asking, what sharpener are you using? ThxYea man it is kind of crazy how different steels, with different heat treats, like different sharpening methods. If I were to do this one over again I would have started with the 140 grit stone. I wasn't reprofiling it so I decided to start with 300. I think I could have got her where I wanted a little quicker going down one grit to start. My next big challenge is a PM2 in S110V. I've never sharpened it before and it is DULL. The edge is all sorts of rolled and rounded off, so that will be different than I'm used to.
Good morning, BF. This Sunday, I am carrying one of the finest knives Spyderco ever made. You guys can keep your Slysz Bowies, I'd trade you any time

And thanks again to S SIx Magpies for selling me that Polish "Warrior". I've been looking for a reasonably sized fixed Wharncliffe with enough chrome in steel for a long time ....
Cheers,
Roland.
Hollly sheeeet. Where did you get those scales? Those are awesome.
Shoa! The teardrop is from Mike Moran and I believe this very one is still posted on his website. It’s scalpel sharp, great walk and talk.Tell me more about the tear-drop jack? The interwebs are quite helpful if I want to look up Bill Moran, but not at all for "M. Moran".
I'm using the KME now days. I recommend it. As far as guided sharpeners go I've had a Lansky, a Smith diamond guided sharpening system, and now the KME. With the others I was never able to get edges like I can now. I think that's mainly because it clamps the blade real tightly, the angle guide doesn't have play like the others, and I'm able to get very low grit diamond stones so reprofiling is easier than I've ever experienced before. If you do get a KME I recommend you spring for the two lower grit stones (the 50 grit, and the 100 grit). If you don’t mind me asking, what sharpener are you using? Thx
Thanks! KnivesPlusHollly sheeeet. Where did you get those scales? Those are awesome.
