EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Close. Victorinox calls it a "Floral knife". It's available in a number of colors.
A single blade sheepsfoot is a handy knife to keep in your pocket. Absolutely the right blade to use on clamshell packaging or any time you want to start a cut in the middle of a surface.

"Chisel ground", absolutely flat on one side, to enable precisely positioned cuts by the namesake user. But I'm not a florist, and I beveled both sides of the primary grind because I find it easier to maintain that way.

Another reason I like it is because of the size of the handle. Longish and thick, easy to control. Very light weight, despite the size. The covers are plastic and the scales (frame pieces under the covers) are aluminum. So despite the goodly size, it disappears in my pocket with my keys.

Floral knife, that's what I was looking for. I did not know this was one of the models that come in colors (it seems like Victorinox is really random about about the models they decide to offer colors for). I am stoked about this and the purp. Wharncliffes have been quickly becoming one of my favorite profiles and SAKs have been replacing Leathermans in my day-to-day carry for the most part (just how useful it is per oz), thanks for the info!

The Police 4 is, I think, very close to perfect for me. This is the smallest carry I've had in as long as I can remember (in terms of amount of knives), just two knives. Usually it's at least three, because mandatory SAK, mandatory Matriarch-2 (or something as potent), regular quality pocketknife, and could go up to four with a second, "beater" knife or a smaller "gentleman knife".

My first real serrated knife for carry (I'll be carrying this every day for a while), inspired by my love of the K390 Wharnie Dragonfly, I always wanted a knife that I could do most tasks that don't need a fixed blade, that can cut like a chainsaw and still make me feel safe walking around. This replace both the Matriarch 2 and PM2 in my pocket today. Just a do-it-all pocketknife in what is so far my favorite supersteel. I'll need to use it more, but it's less scary than some of my smaller Spydercos, despite being more potent and longer. I'd pull this out before I'd pull out my Jandura, black, looking like a razor blade. Chicks love the color on this, most of my stuff, in fact. That goes a long way in acceptability.

This is such a great in-between because it's smaller than my next-biggest serious knife, a CS Tanto Voyager which I can't pull out in public, or similar smaller Spydercos that I love but must be cautious about using, like the Yojumbo or my aforementioned Jandura.

Took a second pic with the plainedge, because I ordered it before I decided on serrated, and couldn't get it cancelled before it shipped. I'd think the lack of Boye dent would be an issue, but it's not. I'm not one of those people who's hand doesn't fit the Endura, but this fits better than the Endura.

I never really felt sure of my purchase when I first bought my Mantra 2. I bought it because the designs pretty cool and I really wanted an uncoated Spyderco heat treated M4 blade, however the action wasn't very good and the lockbar was overly stiff so I never really carried it too much. I decided lately to make a point of carrying it to see if it ends up meshing with me. I felt similar about the Kizer Guru when I got it and it has become one of my favorite knives, so I've been hoping something similar would happen. This morning I took her apart and adjusted the lockbar a little bit, cleaned it all up and put a tiny bit of fresh Hoppe's #9 in it. The lockbar feels a whole lot better and the action got smoother while still having a pretty good detent. We'll see how she handles now for a few days.

I was impressed with the tolerances on the lockbar insert and where it mates up. It is a very tight fit and doesn't just drop out, you have to fandangle it a little bit to get it out. I was also impressed that instead of screwing directly into the titanium lockbar, they installed two small Helicoil inserts so that it screws into steel. The lanyard hole is press fit in and has very good tight tolerances as well.

Edit: Grammar.
