EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Longer barrels punch me when carrying appendix. I had a 43X I adored. I shot it very well. Super comfortable to carry. Have you handled one yet? I feel like the 48's barrel would be long for appendix.

I'm not a Glock fan boy but I really loved the 43X
See that and the standard p365 are on my list as well. I grab my jframe more than anything because of the comfort factor.

Some Ti/CF on this dreary Friday

I know I'm off topic so I'll leave it at this (trying to offer some help) I know on paper, their isn't much difference between the G43X and a G19, but I can tell you that there most definitely is, especially if you're carrying for more than a couple hours.

For me the 43X really is more comfortable. And it fit my hand very nice. Oddly enough I was more accurate with it than my 19.

Have a wonderful weekend Chuck!

EDC for the Urban Warrior!
1) On the left, the Corniche Heritage quartz chronograph;
2) Then the Streamlight Micro USB flashlight;
3) Next is the Chris Reeve Mnandi with blonde Box Elder Burl scales and Devin Thomas basketweave Damascus blade;
4) And at right is the full custom slip joint by Alan Davis, with a Vegas Forge carbon Damascus blade and carved Elkhorn covers.

I'm on the fence with the g48 MOS or sig p365/XL with a dot for carry. I want to sell a few of my guns and simplify.

I’ve never tried the Sig, but I’m a Glock guy. I put Geissele triggers and FCD safeties in my ARs, but I leave all of my Glocks stock. I carry IWB in the Safariland holster below, and I alternate between AIWB, and carrying about 2:30, depending on what I’m doing, and how concealed I want it to be. I’ve only had this about a month or so, before that it was a Glock 26. It can be uncomfortable at first carrying a longer gun AIWB, but at this point I’m used to it.

My Dad (99) reunited with his EDC Buck after 20 days in nursing home rehab. (fall..AOK)
Try going without a knife for 20 days!
His Uncle, my Great Uncle Paul (105) on right. They’re both sharp as tacks, and can give you a local history lesson!

Looks like you have two fine gentlemen in your family. Glad your dad is recovering. Great taste in knives too.

I know a lot of guys who have gone with the p365 and its XL variant. Most are happy. A few had issues with the striker dragging against the primer but Sig seems to have worked it out. Having spent just a little bit of time with a few of the regular versions, I like it better than either the Hellcat or the G43.

I still end up carrying a wheel gun most days. It doesn't matter much on the belt but I sometimes carry in a pocket holster. The more rounded contour of the LCR is much smoother in and out of the pocket versus the harder corner of a semi-auto.

Today is a good example. The heat and humidity makes IWB less comfortable for me. So my LCR moved to the pocket holster. This kicks any folder out of my pocket. So I wore a small OWB fixed blade that hides better under my shirt. This kind of set-up is much more comfortable on days like today and also works nicely for Fixed Blade Friday. :)
