  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Ode to the beaters.

Krylon OD Green on the scales, and Krylon Flat black on the frame and clip. Not crazy about Krylon's version of Flat. Definitely very glossy.

This knife is a beater for me, and the one I take in the sand and near salt water.
I tried to add texture for traction. It did add traction, but not much. Definitely lopsided traction-to-looks scale, haha. She's ugly, but a damn good knife.

Definitely going to have to scroll through this thread!

Just starting to get some patina on my new Native 5 with Rex45. I was curious about how this steel truly reacts as it isn’t stainless but I haven’t seen much talk of it rusting up on people. So I started to cut some fruits at the campsite and in the kitchen to see what happens. I think it is looking nice! I also dyed the white scales neon green.
