Kind of an oddball pairing for today along with how I arrived at it, starting with knarfeng 's post yesterday of his handle-modded Endura. That got me off my butt last night for a look at my FRN model to identify the bump that so offended Frank and was reminded how filthy I had left it. After a good scrub, blow dry, and re-lube I kept it alongside me the rest of the way, but opted instead for the smaller Delica for IWB carry on my morning laps.

I had ordered a couple Lynch clips for the two aforementioned knives last night as the Endura's was awful beat-up and I never quite liked the black-painted clips on them as they don't match the rest of the knives' hardware and I dislike painted clips anyway. I had an admiring look my ZT0452/-50 pair later for their newly installed clips and the larger CF knife ended up as a second carry this afternoon once I had pockets again.

Reversed seared a Tri Tip for dinner, Mini Ronin supervising, I prefer medium rare but the better half prefers medium, I've talked her off the ledge of well done and it's OK if your beef has some pink in it, baby steps.
