As promised, I finished off the 4-day Hinderer rotation today with my 3.5" XM18 Dragon. I'm not a huge fan of the Spanto blade, but I've reprofiled this one to 20 DPS. It took quite a while on the EdgePro to get through the transition at the belly, but it's got a great edge now and I don't mind the bevel so broad there at all as the the knife cuts really well.

I got the second of the two large wall-hung carcasses knocked together this morning. I'm heading back over to the shop now to start working on drawer boxes. The knife's hiding there in the center of this pic.

Carried the CQC 8 today. It carries very well for a knife with such a big handle.

The scales are from a Russian maker Aramis(?) and can be found on the usual sites.
I liked the design immediately due to the full pinky grip.
Very well made, no issues whatsoever with fit and finish.
The deep carry clip is an old one from STR that I heat anodized a bit.
