Hit this spot last week as well, but my son had Friday off of school and he's never been to this particular trail, so he requested we head out that way yesterday. He didn't have to ask twice. Great day

Hoping we finally have internet and cable service restored after going 7-8 days without…and having had to make due with spotty (at best) to non-existent cell service. Not complaining, btw….things could’ve been a whole lot worse. We have friends and clients who lost entire homes due to Ian.

Anyway, today was an SHF 3.25 Saturday with the granddaughters in town for the weekend. I’m not really allowed to play with knives with company in the house, but I managed to sneak a few indoor pics while they were all in the pool.

How has that K390 held up? Thinking about one.

It’s a workhorse. The edge retention is very impressive. It does patina rather quickly, so that may be a turnoff to some. I say go for it if your climate allows.

Today's carry. Pretty much just stayed around the pad and got some things done, save to run to the fish market and grab some halibut to grill. Nice day all around, and fooled with knives and the camera throughout for fun.

Been on a rye kick lately

Snapped some shots during golden hour while enjoying my whiskey and figs on the back porch. Actually caught the reflection of the sun in this one.
