The RAT series are hard to beat for the $$ imo.
Totally agree…that’s the hamster wheel effect of the blade hobby/addiction…thinking something new is soooo much better but in the end they’re tools that cut stuff…one cuts just like the other ones doIndeed! I shoulda just stopped with the RAT in my collection. The FFG cuts stuff well enough, nice smooth action, and a great value, but nooo I gotta keep trying new and more expensive things![]()

This Sencut Sasche is pretty good too though and only a few bucks more than the RAT. The addition of thumb studs with the flipper and button lock makes it a budget fidget king!
The other one is a micarta/D2 sixleaf that i picked up a couple of to check out for dirt cheap on a big auction site. They are decent for the lowly price point but both had blade play so can’t recommend their button locks but the Sencut is a winner!
Damn man…where did you find that cool looking rail gun-warp blaster ??
It's a great pasttime to participate in..
