That Buck caught my attention. What model is that?

Way cool! Yea, Nerf has become a tradition in our family. One year back in the 90's my mom bought one for everybody at a family gathering and next thing you know there were huge battles with all of the generations joining in. I still have fond memories of suction cup darts sticking to my uncle's bald head🤣. It's something I was eager to pass on to my kids, and here a Nerf war can jump off at any time ;). We have the big ones with the tri-pod and drum mags, a handful of of customs that I've tinkered around with, and honestly I have plenty of fun with just a simple Jolt. Nerf combines my love of shooting with my love of playing, so I guess it's only natural that I'm drawn to it.

I love on almost 2/3 acre, and the hyperstrike bows will do 250 feet +, really fun outside.

My house is a trilevel so it creates all sorts of shenanigans.

My nephews are 9,8, and 5. They love coming over. Their sister who is 2.5, learned how to load and shoot a little one (on her own) when she was a year old. Very interesting.

I've modified one of mine, a modulus tri strike with a stronger spring with ok results.

I'm naturally a very good shot, and have honed my skills. The foam bow I've become quite proficient with, dropping arrows from way above the heads of the unsuspecting kids.

Just got this here TRM Nuetron, it's one hell of a cutter in a lightweight package. I won it in a raffle for $10!

Congrats! Thats a heck of a nice price and those premium Gcarta scales look sweet! Ive had an Atom for probably 2-3 years and it has a permanent place in my collection. Love how easy those models are to swap scales without touching the pivot!

Thank you sir! I've been decently lucky with knife raffles over the past year, but I've put some money in for sure. Yea man, that is a cool feature with the scales. This guy came with these scales and some OD green G10 scales, I switched them for a few today and it sure was nice and easy. I'm almost positive that this one's going to be a permanent knife too.

My son and I decided to hit up a lonely desert range out by Dugway, Utah. Dugway Proving Grounds is a military installation that has a huge amount of land in western Utah. They test chemical and biological weapons out there. Some claim it's the next Area 51. This little group of peaks is about as close as I want to get to that place. Would not want to try and cross the fence/border there.

Looking north towards the proving grounds on the left, Stansbury mountain range on the right. From the summit of Round Top.

About 20 wild horses down behind the trees crossing the range. They are a lot of them out in the west desert. Sorry for the blurry pic, damn phone camera...

A lot of isolated peaks and ranges out there, look forward to checking these areas out.

I go to Dugway often and they have tee shirts that’s say Area 52 on them. It’s kinda funny

We got a surprise rainy day here as another system formed up in the wake of the remnants of Nicole. It turned colder with the wind coming out of the northwest despite the rainy moving by off the water up from the south. I burned up a lot cardboard that had been hanging around and built a fire on top of that in the Russian fireplace to take the growing chill off the house.

I still had the Leader with me today and it made quick work of a bunch of boxes to get them through the steel door and into the firebox to get things going..
