Yes. The stove was cranking and coffee was right there.

Put an acid-stonewash on my burlap micarta Buck and copper Vic Cadet to match my Boker Stockman. Well, I did the acid bath yesterday, but decided to wait until today and I had the house to myself for the stonewash .

A Rocky start but my day has really turned around

This one doesn't get a lot of pocket time, though it's not for any lack of liking, it's more just an unfortunate victim of YT having too many damn knives. This 581 Barrage has had a few mods--de-assisting, eliminating the stock backspacer and locking mechanism, adding stand-offs to open up the handle spine, and changing the thumb studs and bolster screws to black. It's an excellent cutter with an M390 blade and its hefty, thick handle makes for a great grip.

I had one more piece to make for my PIA copper job, pictured here in progress and ready to solder, the other 18 having already been completed, delivered, and paid for. This one was maybe the easiest and ended up being a throw-in as I was just so pleased to be done. I cleaned up a bit after, setting the red copper aside and jumped into making 3 of 4 lead-coated copper door pans for another builder.

This pic wasn't from today, but it has my most favoritest flashlight that I unfortunately lost on Friday. I don't have too many flashlights and splurged on this Reylight Pineapple Mini in Ti a few months back. I carried it every day and it didn't glitch on me or do any funky business the whole time. I was only on my third battery change (1 AAA) after all that lighting. But, she gone...
