I'm carrying a Fistful of F's for this Fearsomely Free-Falling Carbon Fiber Foreign Flipper Friday. This 111 was my second Shiro which I spent some time tuning for ultra-smooth opening and slightly damped free-dropping closure, later re-profiling it to 17 DPS to make it a scary-sharp cutting machine.

How to Make a Mallet :)

I turn on our stove twice a day and use two wood "shingles" each time. The shingles are batoned from fire wood with a self-made mallet.

After a few weeks the mallet needs replacement.

Take a round piece of wood, cut it in the middle all around. You can use a hand saw, but I'm lazy :)

Then shape the mallet handle by batoning.

Finally smoothen the corners.

Voila. :)
