That's a wonderful Rolex config. Minimalist but classy
Agree! Great quality knives! I have 4 in my collection.I just got one of these and a K-1s. Awesome knives.
How are the scales? For my hands, the button stuck out way to far and made the grip uncomfortable. Do these scales mitigate that issue at all?View attachment 2015395View attachment 2015396
After upgrading to the new Kevin Smock Grid v2 titanium scales last night, I had to throw this one in my pocket today. And of course I couldn't pass up the chance to snap a couple shots of it when I stopped by the Brecksville Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks.
These scales are a bit thicker than the factory scales and even came with longer screws for attaching the pocket clip. They add both heft and girth to the knife, making it feel much more premium. However, I honestly never noticed any issue with the button using the factory scales, so unfortunately I can't tell if there's a difference with the new scales. How are the scales? For my hands, the button stuck out way to far and made the grip uncomfortable. Do these scales mitigate that issue at all?

If you would please, what is the name of the open one and what steel is it , how do you like it. Looks really stout, I’ve seen one before but can’t remember the name. Thank you in advance, Troy
