3) Lower right is a full custom slip joint by @v.balistreri.knives and features a spear point blade in Damasteel and solid Timascus covers with a round Damasteel shield;
4) On my wrist is Mokume Gane bracelet by @annevillestudio ;
5) And my watch today is the Patek Philippe Aquanaut with a rubber strap (basically a fancy field watch).

I figured on staying both with CRK and keeping things simple today, and what could be more so for a Ti Tuesday than a Plain Jane. I was scratching my head a little on the way to the knife drawers, though, trying to remember just what I had for a PJ. I'd been without one for some time after trading away my large 25 and cash for my current Tabargan and it took actually opening the drawer to recall the knife I picked up off the Exchange a couple years back from DNAIrradiator DNAIrradiator with a beautiful halden.doerge halden.doerge edge on it. This one checked a lot of boxes for me when I acquired it and as a PJ Inkosingo with a slightly re-profiled mirror edge on it's pretty close to being the ultimate Ti frame lock.

I did find another PJ among my accumulation when trying to awaken my memory this AM, but it's actually more of a Fancy Jane with its Chad Nichols Boomerang Dama blade.

After upgrading to the new Kevin Smock Grid v2 titanium scales last night, I had to throw this one in my pocket today. And of course I couldn't pass up the chance to snap a couple shots of it when I stopped by the Brecksville Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks.
How are the scales? For my hands, the button stuck out way to far and made the grip uncomfortable. Do these scales mitigate that issue at all?

These scales are a bit thicker than the factory scales and even came with longer screws for attaching the pocket clip. They add both heft and girth to the knife, making it feel much more premium. However, I honestly never noticed any issue with the button using the factory scales, so unfortunately I can't tell if there's a difference with the new scales.

I'm running thinner titanium scales on mine but it doesn't matter. The Smock is a funky design in that the intended grip space seems lower on the handle. It might seem strange to have so much space between hand and blade but if you put your pointer in the groove, it should keep the button out of your grip.
