Dropped both my light and knife yesterday. This is why you don’t set them in your lap.![]()
The bonus is that I will now carry this wonderful light at work!! The knife already comes to work with me.![]()
The things I drop aren't from my lap, per se. My laptop is my usual knife-surfing medium and my current carry often gets set just below my chest on that little man-shelf there (despite significantly minimizing its three-quarters of a century's accumulation). I'll set the computer aside to get up and if the knife hits the floor the rug saves any damage. The worst case scenario is it falls into the seemingly bottomless abyss between the recliner's seat and side. I've come close to cutting myself retrieving knives from there and almost removed the chair's fabric underside once when something seemed unreachable.I drop things out of my lap constantly unfortunately.
Spartan Harsey Folder
I think it has even more traction when wet. From my experience anyway.Quick question on that ProTech; how does it handle when wet? I almost pulled the trigger on one at SMKW but I could just see it being slick as heck and me dropping it all the time. TIA.
Seems I've been moving left to right, starting towards the middle of the front rank in the top tier of my Spydie box these last few days. This is definitely long and pointy land, with the 204P Millie Monday, the REX45 Native Chief yesterday, and on to the Pakkawood HAP40/ SUS410 Police for Wooden Wednesday. If I keep going, tomorrow will be the K390 Police, then cycle back to the other two Millies. Kind of a Murderer's Row there.
