EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Dropped both my light and knife yesterday. This is why you don’t set them in your lap. 😡 😂😂

The bonus is that I will now carry this wonderful light at work!! The knife already comes to work with me. :)
I drop things out of my lap constantly unfortunately.
The things I drop aren't from my lap, per se. My laptop is my usual knife-surfing medium and my current carry often gets set just below my chest on that little man-shelf there (despite significantly minimizing its three-quarters of a century's accumulation). I'll set the computer aside to get up and if the knife hits the floor the rug saves any damage. The worst case scenario is it falls into the seemingly bottomless abyss between the recliner's seat and side. I've come close to cutting myself retrieving knives from there and almost removed the chair's fabric underside once when something seemed unreachable.

I’m kinda embarrassed to declare tomorrow's carry out here in public. The story is that I had some “found money” and this monstrosity was enticing…..dunno why, as this is not my normal taste in cutlery. Regardless, it arrived today and it gets carried tomorrow. Gotta say tho that the action on this sucker is superb.

Wingman one-pic Wednesday for me.

And I feel for you guys who have had knives fall off your lap…..but as someone who’s had a steering wheel pic go terribly wrong, trust me when I say……better it fall off your lap than into your lap.

Bahahaha. Another 2mm to the left and I’d be referring to that day as “Deflategate II”.

Edit: even more Bahahaha….so Marcus just happened to post a steering wheel pic as I was posting. What are the odds?? Geez, just seeing the knife poised like that made my boys turn tail and tuck into my abdomen for cover.

Seems I've been moving left to right, starting towards the middle of the front rank in the top tier of my Spydie box these last few days. This is definitely long and pointy land, with the 204P Millie Monday, the REX45 Native Chief yesterday, and on to the Pakkawood HAP40/ SUS410 Police for Wooden Wednesday. If I keep going, tomorrow will be the K390 Police, then cycle back to the other two Millies. Kind of a Murderer's Row there.

Not murderers row… just some of the best cutting tools made, that someone can easily put in their pocket.

A military or police may not always be the best choice, like when it comes to smaller tasks… but there’s absolutely not a wrong time to carry either one - especially if you can do so legally.
