Do those cymbals still sound good despite the deadening? I sometimes play gigs that need a soft touch, and I have always wondered if those allow full strikes and wash, but just quieter.

I always wanted to try one, but always read mixed reviews. Many saying the action was poor. Seems you've gotten good use out of it. How do you like it?

I regret not getting one of these when they were available. Buck did a knife of the month version of these recently which I also missed out on....and they have told me (through e-mail) they are not bringing back regular production on these.
