  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Never heard of it and I really want one!

If you like pocket cleavers I'd recommend trying one, they're cheap enough that you aren't out much if you don't like it. I actually just sold mine to get the same size in a different blade shape. I really like the size, ergonomics, and action, just not the cleaver profile.

More wiring over at the shop today, putting together a power source and switching for the Quonset shelter.

This SNG is a bit of a head-shaker--like I shouldn't like it but I do. I bought it LNIB off the Exchange for a good price, but had to put a lot of work into it, curing the lock-stick that developed after a little use, improving the action, and giving the edge a serious re-profile. It's quite unlike anything else I have, though kinda like a poor-man's Hinderer (not in price ;)). Its unique handle shape fits my crippled-up old carpenter's mitts great and it's a surprisingly good cutter and work knife.

SnG is a great design actually despite all the Strider BS. See if you can track down a Sacha Thiel Officer if you like the design but want it abit more refined.
