I ain’t gonna lie. It was nice to be back in FL after 35 degrees, wet and windy in central PA last week. That’s some nonsense.

Yeah, I’m just poking a little fun at us long-time southerners who’ve lost our tolerance for even the slightest chill. Wasn’t meant to be taken seriously. Apologies if I missed the mark.

If the blade is D2 steel, then be careful with this beast. She is very "dry" in this master. Gets chipped easily. I've already had two of these knives for repairs.

Mit-e Monday with a Kershaw Offset, "Metal injection technology -with an edge" was Kershaw's venture into metal injection molded blades. It was a neat concept that would've allowed crazy blade shapes to be produced very easily, something else that occurred to me is that being "cast 440c" it might be possible to create a dendritic structure like David Boye's work
