My Benchmades live in the the top two tiers of a two-drawer plus glass-hinged-top box my son gave me that sits next to the other that similarly stores some of my Spydies. I stayed on the same level putting away yesterday's 710 and grabbed my not-long-ago acquired 551-1. We loaded up the back of my wife's Frontier with the bolts bucked from the oak we dropped this past week and backed up to the splitter to process and put 'em in the woodshed tomorrow.



The black painted clip is still in good shape--that's just a bit of sawdust on it--but I finally got around to writing BMK and they're sending me a complimentary black oxide replacement which will age much better instead of looking all chipped and ratty.
