EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Thanks guys. I did not think about a locomotive. I was thinking heavy equipment similar to open pit mining
@emtyhopper, does your travels take you through normally unseen parts of this country?
Funny you mentioned open pit mines because I have a story how working in one made me quit the fire alarm inspection trade. I would inspect everything from haul trucks, the mills, electrical vaults, crushers ect. It's a very sobering and humbling environment to work around. It's the kind where you cannot get comfortable working in and if you do, you're as good as dead.
But before I was to go do a quarterly inspection down in the crusher, about a month before I had this dream that I died down inside the crusher on the sump deck where it was known to flood. When you go down there for the first time it's intensely awe inspiring yet scary because the vibration literally rattles your teeth and gear. In the dream the stair case from the skiff deck gave out and fell on me trapping me under water where I could not scream for help. What a nightmare, so I tell my boss about the dream three weeks before going and he was the one who convinced me to find a new path. I quite two weeks before going and they postponed the inspection with the okay of the local AHJ.

I found a spot in one of my knife drawers and finally put the SERE away for a bit. Today is Micarta Monday and a good opportunity to carry one of my large 31's. It looks like it could use a little clean-up--funny how sometimes I don't even notice until editing and posting pics.

Spyderco Matriarch cause it blends in clipped in my lower pant pocket, Nippon (Japan)

David Mary Spear because it's really pretty, real tough, fits nicely and works on everything! Canadienne

Diggity Douk-Douk for very similar reasons to above, very tough, very attractive, thin enough to slice and a super thin and light knife in general. Frances

CountyComm 4" curved Widgy prybar - saves my knife tips and is long enough to be held securely and used well. Tough and light little tool. USA

Wenger Delemont - just trying it out, always carry a SAK, and I normally opt for a 91mm with a few layers or a 74mm for leisure and am not insane about LW but dang, smaller than an 84 but just as much utility packed in and lighter. V cool. Switzerland

Cold Steel Rajah II because it's just so awesome and powerful! Demolished some stuff today f. Did some chopping and cutting and it rules. Taiwan

I don't travel long distances, usually within 200 miles of St. Louis, MO. One of the routes I run follows the Mississippi River, another follows the Missouri River, and the most scenic one runs through the Ozark Mountains in Southeast MO.
I bet that Ozark route is nice
