Unfortunately there are so many variants of these rifles made both by the Spanish and even HK (91), FN set the bar high though and is the standard. Why so many countries adopted the FAL and its design.

Those are some of the dyed camel bone on the recent 87 pattern. Pretty large variety on the camel bone release. These are a dark blue, inky color.

I'll finish up my 4 day run of carrying Wilkins Grips with my mini-Ritter set up to match its larger brother, the 552 in coarse G10. Both knives are in M390. The large has a nice polished edge, as it gets enough carry to warrant a re-sharpening, while this little bro still wears it toothy BMK factory edge bevel, which is still wicked sharp. I find my Ritilkins somewhat reminiscent of Hinderers with their broadness, though they're certainly less weighty and thick of both blade and handle. Still, the 558 makes me wonder what an XM18 3.0" would be like as that's a model of RHK I don't have in my accumulation. I've seen a few of those offered as liner locks, which I've always found intriguing, but have never found one to purchase.
