Gotta touch up that edge
I know I can't be the only one on here glad to see you taking it easy brother, it almost feels like we're the ones who's being treated to something special
About 2 mos. ago I was packing up my knives back into their og boxes, and all into a bigger box, as I'm hoping to move in the relatively near future, (hence my disappearance & lack of participation lately), and in doing so I came across the box for this guy but had no idea where the knife was. Completely forgot all about it, and had no idea where it got to.

While cleaning some stuff in my garage the other day, I found it buried in an old roofing tool bag that I had repurposed and used exclusively for classes when I returned to school in 2021. It went back into retirement in spring of last year as I hadn't needed it since, and got buried underneath "stuff".
With the vast majority of my collection now packed up, timing couldn't have been better as this became the perfect all around go2 budget beater, getting lots of pocket time these days while the rest are on sabbatical.
Thanks! Not planning on moving far, just changing things up. Started a new job while still taking classes, but now that I've graduated I got an offer elsewhere for 45% more pay and a slightly better schedule, but it's a 2x longer commute. The wife already has a 40-45 min commute, so since we own our house and adjoining property mortgage free, and the market is still high, we're just looking to flip it and move somewhere closer and in-between both jobs, split the distance a bit to get some time back in the day, and ideally even downsize somewhat into a quaint small town, (like no more pool, and a normal sized yard instead of 2 acres right on the edge of town that we can't really utilize the way we fully want to), and hopefully even save a bit on taxes too if we can. The ultimate goal aside from better commute times to work, is to still remain mortgage free and even make a few bucks at the end of the process of selling and buying, have absolute zero debt when it's all said and done, plus with no debt expenses, get ourselves into a position that saves a few extra bucks every mos. as well, a bit longer term we can ultimately buy a real chunk of land in the mountains somewhere, (and I can buy more knives).Everything happens for a reason right
Good luck with your move. Noticed your absence.... Happy to hear its normal life causing it and not something extraneous!!! Safe travels!
Haha. I just forgot to take a picture during the dayI know I can't be the only one on here glad to see you taking it easy brother, it almost feels like we're the ones who's being treated to something special![]()
