EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Well I  was carrying a knife today, but...

I have a step-son who has two Huskies.
One of them at the wall (drywall) when it was young and bored.
I don't know how good drywall tastes, as I haven't tried any yet.
Let's hope your pooch isn't into home remodeling;).
Stay safe.

Tracking has my biggest chunk of a Benchmade arriving at my PO box tomorrow, so I decided to select today's carry from my smallest BMK's figuring I had nothing on the board but finishing my seasonal paperwork (yeah, dumping money down the gov't hole), a cardio walk, and likely watching some NBA playoff hoops. I wasn't really sure which might be my smallest or lightest, so I got a bunch of qualifiers out, surprising myself at the volume that produced.

Not surprisingly, the 531 came in the lightest at 2.125 oz, followed closely by the Propers and the CF re-scaled Sequel at 2.25. The Mini DarkStar weighed in at 2.625 with the smallest by size, the 705's at 2.75. The Mini Barrage was the little tank of the bunch at 3.5 oz, though, as a gift from my wife, I've left it stock with its backspacer, lock, and AO spring intact, unlike my full-size M390 version, now open backed and de-assisted.. The surprise of the array was the biggest of them all, the 94(3)-1 Franken, tipping the scale at a mere 2.25 ounces. Y'all know I'm a bigger, pointier knife kinda guy, so I opted for the longest yet second lightest of the group, with the 705's, the shortest, a close second choice. What's coming tomorrow will likely balance the scales with the four lightest of these. Here's the Franken, with me as I write ....

As an aside, I've gotta do something about the tail on this one, and finally master Gary W. Graley Gary W. Graley 's whipping knot technique. Most of my knives don't require that, and I do like their tails floppier and freer, but this one and a couple others could definitely stand to be bound at the attachment point as the cord doesn't behave itself, definitely gets in the way, and is getting frayed upon closing.
