Is that an Apple Airtag on this collar? Those are great for at least getting in the vicinity of a lost dog - Huskies are prone to get on a trail and take off for the wild blue yonder, as they like to run and are close cousins to wolves. If that isn't an AirTag, you should consider getting one and the phone app to go with it.
It is not, no. It's a standard dog tag with all our information on there. That might not be a bad idea. So far he hasn't proved to be too much of a runner but he could very well prove me wrong with time.

I spent the middle part of the day prepping for our new electric range's arrival tomorrow. The broiler element in the old one wouldn't come on, though it got plenty hot on the cleaning cycle. I've always been big on repairing stuff if possible and figured the fault was probably the control panel/board, but the range is at least 35 years old and looking pretty beat, so we figured we'd go new. It's amazing how disgusting the out-of-view floor and cabinet ends can get in all those years, so most of my time was spent cleaning after pulling the old stove, hand trucking it outside, saving the pigtail for the new one, then checking the outlet location and re-gluing the formica edging along one side of the counter return that had come loose.

It took me a little bit to decide on a work knife for Ti Tuesday beforehand, but once I spotted the Les George/Wilson Combat Eagle in the USA-made mid-tech drawer, well, that was that. I've always been a fan of Les's stuff, though this is the only piece of his I currently have. This one is incredibly thin for a largish folder due to both its lack of slab thickness and eighth-inch CTS-XHP blade stock, making it great in pocket but still solid in hand due both to it's breadth and handle shape. I was back and forth to both shops grabbing stuff and shot these next door along the way.
