EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Got this one in today! Aaaaaaaaand… my daughter locked her keys in her car, she didn’t have a spare either. What to do, what to do?
I grabbed my trusty Emerson and attacked it!

No, I didn’t pry the car door open with the Overland Renegade. But I did use it to whittle a wedge out of some oak scrap and we got the car open.

Good times!!

BTW, I finally spent some time with this Miguron. I'm not impressed. Not only was it a straight fail but the second fail I've had from this company. I'm not sure I want to give them a third chance. Maybe I'll post a review when I get some more time.

Sorry to hear this brother:(
If it was me you were kind enough to give them two chances therefore their 3rd would be a gift they should never get .

It's a handful, but I manage although the cylinder release cuts into my thumb, as I have to use a high grip for rapid follow up shots. Firearm is pointing downrange after the 10 shots and empty, so it's safe regardless of trigger finger. (two in same hole)

Yikes! I’d be taking a grinder to that cylinder release or a stone. Sure looks uncomfortable! I’m sure you could get an aftermarket or custom release for that. At least take down that knurling, smooth, and polish it…. wowser 😮 .

Good shooting though!

I might have the gunsmith at my local shooting club look at it, now that you mention it.

Well, five .357 Mag rounds in a 12 oz revolver kicks pretty darn hard! It would dig in with every shot until my thumb started to become hamburger.

Now I’m hungry.. 🤤 😋
Agree, that is a lot of force in a lightweight pistol.
If I can control it at the expense of a few bites, I can carry less weight and less reloads while still feeling secure. And I won’t have to do a mag dump with my Sig P365 that takes up a lot more space along with an extra Mag.
The last few words of your first sentence sum it up. Knowing and feeling you are secure is ultimately what counts. If the need did arise where you had to use it in self defense, I doubt you would feel the bite until later.

I concur! Something about PJ Ti knives lol. It’s an Arno Bernard iMamba. Not sure if I can post the website I got mine from, but feel free to hit me up via PM if you’d like. How’d those ribs turn out??
Thank you. I don’t dare PM as I am pretty certain I’d buy….
The rib feast went well. As always everyone seems to like the final product better then the cook!
