EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Just look at it as character marks
What’s funny is I use to work with a guy years ago that bought a 44 revolver and can’t remember but it was like 2 1/2 snub nose I think . Came the work the next day with this gash on his forehead and when I asked what happen he told me they were front site marks 🤣🙈

This morning I went on mosquito patrol down in the little wetland that spans our two lots, dropping larvicide bits and dunks into its puddle of a pond and outflow stream that heads off under the gravel road out front. As dry as it's been for a month or so it still runs a bit as the freshwater dome aquifer is very high these 20-some feet above the nearby harbor and salt marsh. I had the REX45 Native Chief with me today.

After lunch I worked in the woodshop on the handrail I'm fabricating for my oldest son. He'll be renting out the upstairs apartment in his house now that my youngest and his GF have moved back off-Cape again and there's a bit of work to do before new tenants move in. The parts have been laying incomplete for some time after getting the two sections ripped, dressed, and ploughed out for joining. Today I got the edges rounded over and everything glued up and clamped. The main length here is just sitting on the slide saw table for the bond to set overnight.

In my right eyebrow is a scope scar. Barely visible now as it happened almost 5 decades ago. Luckily in the brow and not the nose

The only battle scars I have are my ears 🤣
My old Armored truck partner many years ago was either a Green beret or was in the special forces I can’t remember. But one of the nicest guys you’d ever meet but you’d want to be on his side of the fence when the Sh## hit the fan lol. He showed me so many things like how to shoot with your hands tied behind your back and so much more that I can’t even remember now lol. But he also told me I should shoot a little without ear protection so if I ever got in a shoot out it wouldn’t shock me as much and be more dialed in. Well like everything I do I took it to the extreme lol and went shooting with a bunch of guys in the desert one weekend without ear protection shooting a 9mm , 45 and 40 and also shot a Full auto AK47 if I remember correctly someone brought . But yes my ears rang for weeks especially at night when I went to bed I could hear it even more. Im surprised Im not deaf now. Oh yes the good ole days 😆
Anyway My table top carry tonight
Less the cold beverage of course

I so understand ringing ears. Mine do it all the time. Hearing aids help but there are times not even they are enough.
The mammoth is awesome. I had a couple cold beverages while cooking and eating.
