EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Really liking that Hinderer Glenn posted with the tanto blade. Be checking that one out for yet another EDC. Thanks for all the addictive posts!

I don't carry this Platypus by Terry Primos very often. Forged 1084 and some super Curly Maple. Terry doesn't make knives anymore. It's a beauty. The Magnacut Malibu is clipped to my pocket pretty much every day.

Took a much needed break today but just couldn't resist putting my own touch on yesterday's arrival, the S90V Para3. Used Rit "tropical teal" for a fade into what Spyderco calls teal. It's showing up alot bluer and lighter in my quick phone pics than irl, but in reality it is very much teal, and much more to my liking. I had a scrap of teal paracord that I threw on right quick as a lanyard, and a Ti bead that I had laying around from when I was experimenting on higher voltage colors for anodizing my Sebenza. EDIT: Oh, and of course flamed the hardware while I had it apart.

Your mod work with colors has impressed me for awhile now. Hope to see more of your fine photography in the future.😉

Many thanks my friend! As always, the shade didn't turn out exactly how I envisioned, but still ended up with a result I quite like.

I'm looking forward to getting out and taking some pics as well. Probably won't be until after we move at the end of the month though, but after that I plan to make up for the missed time. Our new place is out closer to Rainier while still being equally close to the places I usually visit, so I'm eager to have even more area to explore

I'm putting a couple coats of finish on the handrail I made for my son's second floor stairwell using wipe-on polyurethane--something I've not tried before. It's kinda like using tung oil or similar products, and I'm just now waiting to apply a second coat. I'll lightly sand and do two more tomorrow.

I had my old friend of a work knife with me today, showing all it's years of love and use in the harsh light of the wood shop.

After applying the first coat upstairs in our home gym, away from all the wood dust, I wandered out back during dry time for pics that make the KnifeArt Sebenza 21 look like it's had a much easier life.
