EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

So bear with me here. After 8 days in Alaska I’ve got a few knife and scenery pics….and no one else to really share them with (particularly the knife photos). Figured I’d start posting a few (in no particular order) to kinda make up for the 12 days I missed.

Keep in mind it isn’t easy to just whip out a knife aboard a “family friendly” cruise ship; seems a lot of folks don’t take too kindly to it. Lol, I’m honestly not sure how I even made it through security getting on and off the ship every day. I picked up a small custom fixed-blade by an Alaskan maker and security confiscated it as I came back aboard the ship that day. Had to wait until the end of the cruise to retrieve it. No problems with the small 31 though, go figure.

Also keep in mind I’m a rank amateur who takes all his pics with a 4-year old iPhone.

Anyway, just wanted to share a few of these over the upcoming days. Apologies for the excessive pics….but if you know me at all you know posting in moderation just ain’t my thing, lol.

Edit: for reference and scale, that glacier in the last pic is 600 feet tall. Unreal.

The pictures turned out great! Unfortunate the fix blade didn't make the ride for the photo op. Understand the conundrum of taking photos in certain public places, the weird looks of some folks lol. We appreciate you snapping that CRK in there, hell of a shot👍

I'll bear with you only if you follow up with pics of the contraband custom you picked up.

Beautiful! Your pics are of a similar cruise to the one we took on our 25th anniversary in 2017, and are better than the ones we took back then. We kayak'd on Mendenhall glacier, and got up close to the calving glacier and Horsetail Falls. We also did a hike bike and float excursion, zip lined, biked around Victoria, and many other fun things. Highly recommended to do an Alaskan cruise.

This September we're cruising around the UK, and covering 6 countries in 11 days. Norwegian Cruise Line allows pocket knives under 4" in length, and I have some <3" slip joints for taking on shore with me in places where they are allowed.

EDIT: NOT A SINGLE ONE OF MY iPhone 7+ PICTURES CAME OUT AS WELL AS YOURS

I finally got caught up after a few days posting but not keeping up with the thread--seems odd the last pic I Liked before writing here was another Elmax, blackwashed ZT. No theme for me today, just a favorite carry while I finished up with two more coats of the wipe-on poly on my son's handrail. I got these pics aftewards in the odd light today as we're on the perimeter of the smoke drifting down from the Canadian wildfires. It's seemed like dusk most all day here--it must be really dark and acrid in those places where it's heavier.
