EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Beautiful pictures, almost like being there!

Awesome photos. Looks like a great place to relax and recharge. Thanks for taking and sharing these

Thanks gents! Glad to have a place like this to share. And thanks to all those who posted kind words and birthday wishes from my previous post that I didn't get a chance to respond to while I was gone!

It is indeed a wonderful place to recharge, and it does in fact rejuvenate my soul each visit. It has become an annual trip for us for the past 5 years we've been out here, and I don't think I could ever tire of it.

And this is why I like the original grind better than full flat - no distal taper.
You get the full thickness and strength along the entire blade.

Found a spot just a few miles from the house to cool down on hot summer days. There's even a little cave where you can go underneath that waterfall, plus a spring water source nearby where you can collect mineral rich drinking water.

What a gem of a place! Your uploads never disappoint... usually find myself looking at your pics for a minute or two, sort of in a vicarious manner🤙

After pressure washing the deck yesterday I took some time this afternoon to repair the outside light there. While it was still enclosed and protected on all sides but the bottom by the lantern housing, the interior pot metal support tube had succumbed to electrolysis and the bulb socket was hanging by the wire. A trip to the hardware store netted a couple new threaded brass nipples, nuts, and a replacement finial along with a fresh ceramic socket and I got the fixture rebuilt, rewired, and re-hung, using my not-so-babied anymore 806-1101 to strip jackets and leads. It's head-shaking that a maker would mix copper and brass with junk metal in an otherwise nicely made fixture adding unneeded battery action to a wired fixture.

Waiting for the drop myself, it is supposed to be soon. The 15V needs some more testing in the yard. I am waiting for the K294. Did you see the new scales for the Atom and Neutron I posted on the Facebook TiCoons group?

Yes! Holy Cow, I never guessed I’d have so many 5 star choices to scale my TRM’s
