EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Happy Mon, folks.

Do tell please!!!!????😉

Fox Knives are criminally underrated. This thing sits perfectly in my hand and the fit and finish is amazing. I'm already looking at a Titanium/Carbon S90V framelock variant of the same knife. Highly, highly recommended if you're okay with folders just under 9 inches.

100% agree!!! I didnt.know they made this though!! I only knew about the Editions G version...Its like a monster gitano.......Gudy Von Poppel designs are awesome!!👍👍👍!! Thanks!!

Not quite sure what happened. Feel like I laid down on the couch Saturday night and the next thing I know it’s Monday evening. This thread moves way too fast, I should’ve called a “Time Out” Saturday night.

Anyway, today’s carry is a rollover from Sunday. Willem Steenkamp Nomad Jr.

Our lil’ pup “Echo” (to pronounce her name properly you have to add the “echo” effect to it, lol) thought we were outside to play. She looks sad, but don’t fall for it. I tuckered her out shortly afterwards. She’s a spoiled little princess.

Friends, sorry, today again a lot of photos. :)
Monday started very early. The suburban train departed from one of the stations at eight in the morning. After an hour of driving, my daughter and I had to walk another three kilometers along the old stone road to the beginning of our adventure.

The starting point was a stone bridge built in 1835 by Italian engineers. View from above at the beginning of the path.

Here the Lava River widens and you can go straight along the shallows and along the channel.

After breakfast, we hit the road.

But the purpose of the trip was not only to see the beauty

and jump on the pebbles.

The goal was to find traces of trilobites.

The Lava River cut its channel through limestone rocks 200-450 million years old.

Every spring, when the water in the river rises two or three meters, new collapses occur in the canyon.

In summer, the water recedes, and you can go in search of new fossils.

Three hours later we made a halt.

They made a fire, fried sausages, bread and marshmallow. Daughter loves this.

We walked for a couple more hours, my daughter collected a few souvenirs,

Excellent adventure!! Thanx for taking us with.😉.. No apologies necessary when including us in your daily knife adventures...... Looking forward to your next sojourn!!!👍👍👍.

Is your daughter going to be a future geologist, archeologist or paleo scientist with an awesome knife collection????😉

Very classy and classic. Beautiful knife. Paired with the work glove, symbolizes, at least to me, hard work and trust in quality items.
