Nice one Icky!
I would love to handle one of these. Have had such bad luck with Hinderers I am leery but like almost everything about these.Nice one Icky!
So, once again, it's the Southern Grind Spider Monkey. Didn't carry it for over a year, between hospital stays, etc. I'm now strong enough and have enough dexterity to open it one handed.
Best thumb studs I've ever used, and I hate most studs. Everything about the knife is great. Ergos, blade grind, weight, looks. The CF is beautiful, and sculpted in just the right places to ensure a good grip without being uncomfortable. It's a phenomenal value. Great F&F. I've had it since August 2015.

Once I can break up the red loctite on my Yo2, I'll put the new scales on, and that will be my carry for a few days. For whatever reason though, this had kicked everything else out of my pocket. Or pocketses as Gollum would say.
If CRK used these kind of studs, I'd still own one.[/QUOTE
Yeah, the CRK studs are sort of an initiation process.
Sorry to hear of your hospital stays. I’m a lefty that had to go to my right hand, for most tasks many years ago, due to a motorcycle accident. Screwed me up bad as I fenced as a sport in college. Bone graft and metal plate installed has made me adapt to my right hand. No way I can use the CRK conical thumb studs in my left hand.
