EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Thwick-thwack throwback Thursday with an old school Desert Knife Works Sand Shark. These beasts opened my eyes as to how strong an OTF mechanism really could be🤯 If you're looking for something similar currently in production, the Piranha Excalibur is heavily based on these legends😎

Needed something sweet!

Note to self: Need more situational awareness that the wife is watching you scroll the EDC thread… I’m now in the car on the way to DQ.

Thanks Quiet Quiet

🤣

Man, I don't even feel bad! The Peanut Buster Parfait is a treat that is always a step back in time for me. I'm in my 40s (been going to DQ since I was several years old), and can tell you that I've got happy memories as a very small kid, going to DQ after Scouts, or a school ballgame and always getting this exact treat, and it's one of the few things I can name that still tastes exactly like it always has, all these years later!! It's all I ever order, to this day.

So, your wife clearly knew you needed a little pickmeup, enjoy it, my friend!

Three days running with the same knife while my buddy and I work on trying to finish my roof. This 25 was someone's safe queen when I picked it up off the Exchange some years back and it went right into my pocket on a job site after picking it up at the PO at lunchtime. FYI, my days of climbing are really over, though I spend a little time each day aloft, as my friend does most of the work up there with me as his ground man.

Anyway, this knife has gone through this week's run on Twenty-five Tuesday, Wilson Combat Wednesday, and today it served on Throwback Thursday. I could keep it up on Framelock Friday, and Sebenza Saturday/Sunday, but it's gonna rain here tomorrow into Saturday and I'll give both this knife and my old bones a rest.

Your description matches my own experience, almost exactly. Mom and sister would change it up, but dad and I always went for the Buster.

Heck yeah! makes any day better. Thanks again for the trigger.
