Thank you for the kind words!!Dude, when you post your knives, I stop scrolling. Nice gear!
I had the same thoughts when I got my first Sebenza. I knew everything in advance, and it was definitely a boringknife. But it was great!I received from USPS this WE Espirit in the same configuration as you M maxjeg on the same day. I agree that this thing is sweet! I've wanted one of these for about a year. It's funny, I already knew, even a whole year ago, that this would be one of those very few "perfect knives" for me. The design just fits my tastes almost to a T as an actual EDC just about perfectly. To the point where I didn't even feel the need to compulsively look over every detail of it when I opened the package, I just put it in my hand and already knew exactly how it was going to feel. It's almost a boring knife to me because I already knew exactly what to expect and that it'd be boringly perfect. I wouldn't have anything to be surprised about, yet also nothing to really think that I'd do better myself. However the flame job on it and anodized hardware takes it out of the boring territory and into thefor me. All said, I'm very happy with it.

Part 2 of 2: Not entirely off-topic with today's carry pictured and yesterday's carry the culprit.
I gave the Hati a bit of a touch-up on the SharpMaker as I'd mentioned yesterday, and had it at the kitchen table with me early evening as I worked on another knife. It was open as I'd used its blade spine to push a second standoff into place and carelessly knocked the knife off the table and felt the handle hit my left big toe. I looked down and was relieved to see no wound there. Later, back upstairs, my other leg felt stuck to the recliner's foot rest and I looked down past my laptop to see my calf and heel covered in blood. Apparently the tip had glanced and slid a bit leaving a nice smile in its wake. It's not as bad as it looks--just a not-too-deep flap--but one of my meds sure doesn't help with all the bleeding.
My wife very kindly cleaned me up, helped stanch the flow, bandaging me up, and it's really OK today. She did take the opportunity to give me well-deserved gas for bragging about how easily I'd restored my Shiro to a wickedly sharp edge. Sharp enough that I never felt it cut me.

Yessir, both pretty sweet Laconico designs! I'm a big fan of Ray Laconico, I've had a thing for his designs for many years. This thing's one smooth criminal. Looks like the Gemini is a standard flipper, and the Espirit is a front flipper, so whichever tickles your fancy, along with the other differences in materials. In my house that’s called “pulling a Larry”…
Very nice. That’s like the WE version of the Kizer Laconico Gemini.
Had these three on me today…
Yup, OD green micarta, the true ticket to J jfk1110 's heart no less!Is that micarta on that PDW???..OD green no less..Whenever it.loses its charm for ya, lemme know
!!
Great pair..

Yup, OD green micarta, the true ticket to J jfk1110 's heart no less! However you'll feel better knowing that it is in linen micarta instead of canvas micarta, as I know you like, because this is one of my favorite knives and it'd be very tough for me to let this one go.
Haha no problem at all my friend! Yea I actually really love me some nice linen micarta. I've said it over and over but the OD green linen micarta on my Kizer Begleiter 2 is one of my favorite scale materials ever. It's got that smooth, soft feeling like have a soft, thin blanket wrapped around the handle!I hear ya!! Linen worx too!!!! One.of mine today is linen.....I always miss them when they pop up on the exchange..... Had to try anyway!!! I do it toChazzyP all the time with his Python micarta Shiro
....
Ill probably give you the same treatment every time I see it. I'LL TAKE IT....
...
Great looking pair.... Have a great day!!!
