EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

15V PM2 was my companion for a long day. Also I missed titanium Tuesday, just plain forgot.

I was all set to carry the CRKT Piet tomorrow, but found out the Mrs. lost her purse Kershaw. ‘Twas a nice little flipper I’d had for years.

She had it clipped on an outside pocket and lost it. (The clips on those cheaper Kershaws aren’t too springy)

So the Piet is hers now. It’s perfect for her: just the right size, easy for her to open and close, and not too expensive to lose.

Not sure what I’ll carry tom… er today, though.

I got them from American Cutting Edge, and they charged me a tariff fee. Minimum order 5 blades (about $18 each). Still cheaper than a WC (Tungsten Carbide) knife.
Alright thank you. They don't make those cheap I see. However if you use them a lot and they really hold their edge well, then I suppose it'd work pretty well. Especially if you can touch them up on stones/ strops with diamond emulsion.

Still checking out this pass around, today against my cruwear basic field knife, Dek1 and survive
. Thanks blade fits best for me in the EDC role rather than a bushcraft blade, not enough mass to this blade but very agile. I don’t have any logs around the house so went to a chuck of 4x4 cedar to see how it would baton into finer pieces. Again a little lite and thinner so it does get the wedge effect. With this model, personally I’d size the handle down a little and make the blade less wide and add a sharpening choil. Other than that I received it sharp from the previous tested so just stropped with 1 micron diamond spray and ready to get back to it.

What's the music theme/score/soundtrack playing with this knife showdown???
Ha.

Is it the Jaws music?
Is it the theme from Rocky?
Or is it Benny Hill music? 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I'm So glad that You got this knife. Great knife line ups!
Otherwise I'd never know what these other knives really looked like.
Could you maybe do some hand modeling? -maybe on the other post not to tie up This one... :)

*I don't have a good picture of me holding that knife, but I'll let out a tidbit of what I think good knife design requires...
That arching rear palm swell is the secret to a comfortable handle. Especially with aging, beat up hands.I need something like this to grab onto.

Idk how your other knives feel? But I focus A Lot of my designs so they feel great in the palm/heel area of the hand. I feel too many knives I buy are uncomfortable there, so I make sure the ones I make feel amazing.....or at least that's my goal.
Is there a difference?

As a middle aged bald guy , the closest I can get to that awesome feeling a hair cut gives a man is freshly cleaned and oiled work boots!

Good looking boots. Look comfortable.
I never got the haircut feeling but since I started shaving my head due to partial baldness, I get that feeling from a shave

Thank you. Few things I love more than a broken in pair of Redwing boots!. I too started shaving my head because of the balding starting in my 30’s. Gal that used to cut my hair told me it was becoming a waste of my money! That was 30 years ago, been shaving my head since!
