  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Very nice!

Today I carry my new Slysz Bowie, that I won in a $20 IG raffle, ha ha ha... ! :D
Very happy, I never thought I will like a metal scale framelock but here I am - loving it.

Big shout out to Jacktheknifeguy, you are straight up man, my friend, thank you !!!

Congrats! Beats the hell out of the $400 - $550 aftermarket pricing ;)

Thank you Sir ! This is the second knife I'm wining from IG, I guess I'm lucky...
The first-one I got was an outstanding little folder made by Nemesis Knives - Holey Moley model NK-18,
very nice little fella with very good ergos for the size.

Looks nice with that patina. How did you do it?
I made a patina bath by dissolving 1 tsp Liver of sulfur (XL Gel) in 12oz of water (heated to 135 F).
I then dropped the scale into the patina bath the for 30-40 seconds.
Pulled it out and rinsed it off in a baking soda bath (to neutralize the reaction).
Then scrubbed the scale with a green scotch-bright pad for 20-30 second and voila'.
