Thanks to Kettleman for sending some new O-rings for my umnumzaan! It just so happens, I was carrying an Inkosi I had bought from him today as well. Couple comparison shots. I can’t remember if the umnumzaan bead blast finish used to be as “grainy” as the new Inkosi finish or not.

Decided to go ahead and clean the umnumzaan while I was putting on the new o-rings. It was due.

shinyedges , Not sure if lockup really improved, but the action sure is different with the o-rings installed. It has been so long since they were on here, I had forgotten how dampened the action is when the lock engages with the o-rings installed.

So it’s getting cool enough again for my wife to start running outside. No more treadmill. She’s getting ready to run this evening and I say “Hey you need a knife in case some mean dog or who knows a kidnapper tries to get you”. She walks over to my knife drawer and selects the Spyderco Police in K390 I bought this summer. She says, “I like this one and it’s light and it opens easy”. I’m like okay that’s your running knife. Little did she know I specifically bought that knife for her to use when she runs in the evening, or if it’s dark.

Yep I get the frustration. I had to try and work from home for a couple weeks with the china flu. Calling my guys every 15 mins to take photos or describe what my equip was doing….

I know things can always change but, I don’t think I’d ever want to work from home
