MCE is always the goal. The highest art of suceeding at it emerges when you're a free lancer or a consultant. Then it can be trying to walk a path that is a cross between an invisible tightrope and a minefield! Customer expectations are best when they're mutually understood and agreed upon. It's the unstated or blurry ones, and those that pop up after a contract is signed, that tend to bite you in the end.Your definition. In my business "Quality" is "Meeting Customer Expectations".
Welcome.
I have loads of fun - get absolutely giddy! - when I can buy a product like a quality knife for 70% off an obviously inflated MSRP.I certainly understand your cheapskate viewpoint and largely share it .
But this here forum is more about enjoyment and pleasure seeking via the "knife hobby" .
Function , performance and even value , is often a concern .
But the primary concern is for entertainment and improved quality of life (fun) .
Where is this? Stunning photos!!
Yes it is, my first time doing something like this, thank you!How old is the Glock? Looks like it has seen a lot of carry time.
Is the Old Timer a reground 6OT?
Looks great
Do you have any photos of your carry to share in this EDC photo thread?I have loads of fun - get absolutely giddy! - when I can buy a product like a quality knife for 70% off an obviously inflated MSRP.
I understand how seductive cool gear can be. I've built myself a stupidly fun car back in the days when hot rodding meant building the best you could within an average person's discretionary (broke ass college student) budget, then going out and blowing the doors off the rich dumb kids in their "Daddy bought it for me" ego rides. I still smile when a hot rodder builds an innocent looking car and beats exotic supercars at the track. I'm probably just a remnant of a dying breed.
It turned out great.Yes it is, my first time doing something like this, thank you!![]()
This made me think of the quote from Sin City - "Look at you! You can't even lift that cannon you're carrying.."
