EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Will have to get some better pics sometime later, but kinda excited to have a full Spyderco 15V family. I held out on getting the Shaman for a long time, thinking it was a model that wasn't for me. Have had this one less than 24 hours and already figured out I was quite wrong. It's a bit chonky and heavy so may never become my most carried knife, but wow is this a cool and well designed knife!

Probably going to be rotating between the PM2 and Shaman today.

Is it fair to say you’re fond of the 15V steel? 😉👍

Along with my usual traditional knife, I'm carrying this large Benchmade Griptilian today. A switch up from the Spyderco Natives I've been carrying for the last week or so.

I’ve followed that route myself with Spydies being among my top favorites. For switch up I went Hogue RSK but same idea. Rotating players is a lot of fun!

I was fortunate to snag an XM-18 3.5 Fatty Wharncliffe from DLT's latest drop (and I swear they must bribe USPS to achieve their best-in-the-industry delivery times -- this shipped Thursday, two hours after I ordered it, and arrived Saturday!).

Hinderer is my favorite brand, but even after owning several this one still manages to combine multiple firsts: anodization, jade G10, Wharncliffe, and Fatty blade. Now that we're back to jeans weather I'm going to let it kick my SnG out of my pocket and see how I like EDCing a Wharnie. :)

Kettleman Kettleman , I should offer you my congrats on picking up that KnifeArt Inkosi and gave you a 😍 reaction. Honestly, though, if there was green-eyed emoji I would have chosen that as I'm more than a little jealous. I've been more than a little disappointed in the discontinuances of CRKs lines of exclusives for both KnifeArt and Wilson Combat. I'm glad I at least have my KA large 21 and both a large WC StarTac and Starbenza 25, but would love to have an Inkosi in either one or both versions.

Anyway, I carried the Starbenza today as I wanted another all-metal knife as I was putting a third coat of urethane on my handrail and wanted to be sure of easy and complete handle clean-up should the unfortunate occur. One of the things I really like about the WC CRKs is the way that snail trails are almost entirely confined to the flats of the handle slabs with the flutes untouched, lending a mottled, almost stonewashed appearance to the original sandblasted finish.

This knife was someone's safe queen when it arrived, but it went right into my pocket on the job site that day and has remained among my work users ever since. This is also the freest, most flickable CRK from the get-go that I've experienced and is the only one of mine (save my one drawer queen) that has never been apart.

Killer cork screw! 👍👍🌴
Many thanks! It's silly how much I'm diggin' this thing. I didn't expect to carry it often, but it actually makes a nice little around the house on a lazy weekend knife. I'm such a nerd that I was already opening all the wine with SAK's anyway, so I figured might as well get the one purpose built for the task. I may tinker around and look into customizing it at some point, it appears as if the one handed opening blade with the hole from other models in the range could fit 🤔
