EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Been slacking on posting - nothing since the 19th - but I have taken some pictures that I just got around to loading, resizing, and putting on imgur

I just noticed that I was carrying a Rat and a Mouse on the same day...and they were both 3s
(I seriously didn't plan it, or realize it...when I scrolled through after posting, I saw the logo on the GM3)

I've been carrying a black annodized LionSteel SR-1 for the last couple of days.

The most interesting thing about the knife is the handle, which incredibly is 3D machined from a single block of aluminum. The design is so complex that it looks like it was cast molded instead. The other great features are the large 3.5x1.25" polished D2 blade, the short but effective polished deep pocket clip and the patented RotoBlock which can be used to lock the blade open or closed. The replaceable steel tip at the end of the liner lock is another unique feature.

This is the knife upon which I believe that the Spyderco LionSpy, which I also own, was based. While the much more expensive LionSpy is an exceptional knife w/an Elmax blade and G10/Ti scales, the SR1 is an excellent knife that would be exceptional for EDC and could also be used effectively for SD as well as a camp knife. So, I'd rather carry/use the SR-1 than risk damaging the LionSpy.

Had a nice walk outta the woods this morning, I even made it in enough time to get cleaned up and take my wife to lunch so I switched up to these guys.

Never been a huge fan of the FFG manix leaf shape blade, but I'll be dammed that hollow ground version is just sexy, gives it a whole new look. Might try look for one, don't like my chances.

Ah yes, is this it?

It’s kind of a joke/wordplay based on a popular lip care product here in the states..

I’ll have to check out that movie. I’ve never seen it. Thanks for the recommendation!
