Man, I always thought about doing an off road build when I had my BMW…but never had the balls to go through with it. Lol, I’ll bet those wheels and lift look frikkin awesome on that beautiful M of yours!!! Can’t wait to see the full pics!

Haha. Nice to see ya back, Ed. New toy?

This gets my vote for picture of the year BF edition! Nicely done Keyopp Keyopp !

VERY nice Keyopp! You've outdone even your own, awesome pics.

Epic! One of your very finest, nicely done sir 🥇👍

Oh the bar has just been set higher. These surpass your others

Thanks guys! Today's sunrise was something else, I don't recall having seen one quite like that before.
It was raining and clouded over where I was on the shore, but I could see the open sky headed toward me. I was taking pics right as the sun came up, it lit up the underside of the clouds and in a matter of seconds it went from gloomy to the face of Mars, it was surreal.
Check out the two pics below taken right before the one I posted, only a minute or two between them.

Thank you!

The little fixed is something I whipped up yesterday on a break from leatherwork for the day. I did everything myself except for the grind and HT.
Thank you for the kind words. Glad someone likes it! 😁

It’s another one from Coleman, he called it “Thistle” .

Well I must have a discerning eye for quality workmanship and know what I like when I see it. Lol, I mean what are the odds the two knives I single out were made by Sharp & Fiery Sharp & Fiery ? Gorgeous knives that both left me wanting more info.

Coleman, somehow I wasn’t even aware that you make knives….but this is obviously more than a mere coincidence. It’s a sign! The voice in my head keeps chanting “Must have one, must have one…”

So I think it’s pretty obvious where all this is heading. Lol, you want me to to DM you my address?

But seriously, are these available in the Exchange? I’ll do a little digging around to see if I can find what I’ve been missing all this time.

And apologies to all for steering the thread off the tracks….but I was really pleasantly surprised by this “revelation”.

Thanks brother and Yes a new toy my friend 👍🏻👊🏻

After a Seki City Saturday with my Al Mar Eagle UL, I followed up with a Seki Sunday with its companion Eagle HD. Yesterday's carry was also motivated by a bit of kidding between Kettleman Kettleman and myself regarding my Shiro F3's blade being only S30V. I figured the UL's AUS8 steel would show how truly low I could go, regardless of it being one of the sharpest out of the box I'd come across as it easily cut my thumb with only the lightest touch on one of its initial openings.

On the other hand, this Eagle HD, generously re-marketed my way unsolicited by our friend Barman1 Barman1 a while back, is taking me in the opposite direction of those lesser steels with its nicely re-profiled, laminated ZDP189 blade. Can I hold my head a little higher now?

E-Z Sunday, haven't felt the need to venture any further than the park across the street 😎

Nice fall day, cloudy but high enough that the the mountains (including Rainier) are in full view

Inspired by @Retired UPS Driver , though I still have a long way to go before I'm up to his status as a bird whisperer

Listening to some local robot-free radio (KEXP). Still defiantly human-curated, and the perfect thing to have coming thorough a vintage receiver

Love me some hummingbird action, I have at least three full-time residents that always joust over the "never ending flower"
