Cold and dreary here on the continental divide today. Behind the Helle is the 7 sisters. Natural avalanche chutes. There’s a road right below the chutes, so it is closed for Avy mitigation. They use Gazex Avy bombs, they are controlled propane blasts that get snow to slide. Here’s a past video of them blasting here on those chutes:
