EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

They hype is real

I need info on the rigid please. I literally made this sheath for one of those for a gentleman and had never heard of it before.

Oh man… I need info on that sheath! Please PM me.

This is an old Rigid knife model RG-26. It was my father’s. Didn’t want to post my sheath as it’s pretty tacky lol. Has a clip for a boot and also a strap for I guess body or leg carry I guess (which I’ve never done).

I believe Rigid has been out of business for a while, but if you look you can find one for sale on EBay here or there.

Do you still have that sheath or is it gone? Still have the pattern and capability of making one without the knife?

I’ve been wondering about an upgraded sheath. Seems you answered my question before I even asked it lol.

Yeah ... with tip up and spine against the seam the flipper and thumb studs are under the thumb.
No need to reposition the knife in hand to open it. 😇
Spine against seam helps prevent filleting finger and/or hand when reaching into the pocket if the blade partly opened for some reason.
Yup, amen to that! I have a couple knives that really enjoy opening in my pocket once in awhile, and if the spine's not against the spine it's not a pretty situation haha.

I had an appointment up-Cape with my cardio doc and figured I'd appropriately carry the RDD, though she's actually wholly American and has done a great job keeping me alive. The knife seemed a little balky when I got it out as it's sat unused for a while and likely needed a flush and re-lube. I grabbed the neighboring F95R instead, for convenience sake, which proved to flip snappily and drop shutily. ;)

This one's Vanax 37 anyways, just like the Russian Doctor Death.

I don’t have that particular sheath (gift for my Dad). I do however have the templates still. :)
I’ll PM you…I’ve disrupted the thread enough already. 😬

Best customer service I’ve experienced in a while! Sent me not 1 but 2 clips free for my mini Ritter.

A year ago I called BM Customer Service and wanted to BUY a clip for the one I personally mangled on my 940. They refused to take my money and sent not only the clip but a nice BM cap as well.
BM CS is top shelf. They've sent me clips, screws, and thumb studs and never charged me a cent. My son dropped the Crooked River I bought him and broke the wooden scale. I sent it in Benchmade, they replaced the scale and shipped it back no charge. I've got quite the collection of replaced BMK clips--a dozen or more--reflecting all the new ones they've sent me over the years. :D
