Were you able to make pedal tracks, or do the fat tyres give enough floatation to prevent pedal tracks?

We don't get enough of the white stuff/cloud dander around this part of South Central Idaho for pedal tracks ... since 2001 there been years there was barely enough for tyre tracks.... ☹️
"Growing up" in Iowa got to make pedal tracks every year. 😁👍

I'm not sure what you mean by "pedal tracks?"

Our local trails association grooms some of our summer singletrack for fat bikes in the winter. But prior to that, we used to just try to keep some traills ridden/stomped in to keep them ride-able. I'm in eastern ID (@ 6200') and we generally never lack for snow, but this winter has been the lowest snowfall I can recall. Still, as you can see from the pic, there's plenty for skiiing/fat biking.

The ZT0095 has been one of my go-to favorite EDCs for many years. I laid back the edge to 17 DPS and dropped in a set of ceramic taco bearings for an extra slicey and glassy smooth flipper. Love this knife so much I picked up a second one off the exchange, thank you norcalAF norcalAF !

Great pic Mako. Got any more pics of the silver scale colored Spartan SHF?

Like I mentioned in my last post, the SERE was yesterday's nominal carry but ended up mostly replaced in pocket, hand, and alongside by the same two Russians from Monday as I'd been PM'ing with a member about Shirogorov's and got those two out again. Today it's all SERE all the time with a shoutout to woodysone woodysone for making it available and passing it along via the Exchange and another to sonofwilfred sonofwilfred for the bead that's such a good match for the Al Mar chop logo.

It's cold for the Cape and yesterday's snowfall is icy and treacherous despite its lack of depth. I got a couple vehicles cleaned off and ran uptown in the Escape to pick up my new Bill Evans LP of previously unissued material. It's otherwise been a mostly indoor day, listing to tunes and getting the masonry mass heater warmed up. The snow looks nice through the slider from the comfort of my chair in a warm house, though.

I really like butt mounted clips--they're a good design affording reversible deep carry unobtrusively without a bunch of holes in the scales. Those I've had have all seemed particularly good in hand too.

Definitely feeling a bit more picture-heavy than usual on this relaxing winter day....
