Same brother, Coffee & Banana every morning, once in awhile I'll get a little crazy and get a teaspoon of Almond Butter to go with it.I feel like I’m in a rut, same coffee cup, banana and pills every morning. I guess the only excitement today is going to be the seed catalog

I remember carrying one of these for over a year before I fell deep into this hobby. It's a fantastic knife.Throwback Thumb Stud Thursday! The Tangram Santa Fe was the best budget knife I'd encountered when it was released. It's still the best $25 knife I ever bought. The thin blade in Japanese Acuto 440 cuts like a dream, even though the grind on this one is slightly off. (I ended up giving away my first one to someone who had lost their knife. I later bought a bunch of them to give away as Christmas gifts and kept the one with the funky grind for myself. BTW, at least one of those ended up being someone's primary carry for over a year and only stopped because it fell out of their pocket somewhere in the woods.)
Thankfully, Kizer has revisited the concept of a budget line with their recent Laconic series in 9Cr18Mov. They aren't quite the same killer value but a lot has happened since Tangram shut down and the dollar isn't what is used to be. Still, the new Laconic series has a lot to offer under $50.

What a beauty. I stared at these for a good minute when they dropped. Kinda thinkin I shoulda got one now :/
Thanks for the comparison on these! I always knew the Mini was shorter but didn't even think about it being a smaller width as well. Now I want one even more!
