EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Mid-day change up just to be able to say I’m sporting a little AB wood in my pants this afternoon.

Yep, I'm apparently that immature……and obviously not too bright.

I mean….in hindsight, I probably should’ve gone with at least an average size knife.

In my own defense, it was a wee-bit chilly today.

And on that note, I’ll show myself to the exit and start working on some new material.

I have some Match Anderson scales similar to that for my G10 Atom 🥰 Someday I'll get around to installing them...

Yeah, but it fits in the 5th jeans pocket (watch pocket). It's similar to the size of a Civivi NOX, but much nicer with Titanium instead of steel scales (and 14C28N blade). It's kinda cute, well made, with good action, and very sharp.

To show just how small the Mini Labrador (2.75" blade) is, I put mine next to a Kizer Dropbear and a Mini Griptilian (2.91" blade AWT scales).

I didn't do very much today aside from reading and researching a problem someone has created for us. We did manage to pick up the larger downed limbs from last week's storm. I also found a good-sized dent in the top shoulder of my construction trailer from a substantial pine branch that also tore a bit of a hole in the metal shell as well. I'll put a temp patch over that tomorrow and fabricate something more permanent when I can more permanently seal it.

In the meantime, I made this a sort of Black Ti Tuesday with my 0801 BW, which is one of the four ZT's I've kept of the several more I've owned.

Absolutely. The Mini Labrador seems good for a tiny titanium frame lock and I think that's a reasonable slot to have in an EDC rotation. The question is just whether that little bit of clip play will slowly drive me nuts.

As far as being "cute", it's very rare that my wife gets excited about a knife. She instantly remarked that this one was "adorable". Then she saw that there was a blackout version and said she needed to have it. So I ordered it. I'll take that one apart for inspection, cleaning, and proper lubrication too; so I'll have a sample size of two soon.

The software does suck. I’m almost certain they have a moble version but my cheap company won’t spring for iPads or the software ( or WiFi in my plant for that matter) so that’s running in a VPN on my personal machine using its 5 G.

Life’s a work around😉
