I like how it stays totally locked in closed position. Gave away my other all blacked out ruike to a good friend, this now is my only all ⚫🐈‍⬛️ folder.
Super duper slicey buds. 🇨🇦

Checking out jsnell jsnell 's Wednesday post here of his Ritter Grip and assuming it was a 55?-1-552 Franken had me getting out a few related knives from the top tier of my Benchmade stash. The only one of my 6 Grips that's stock is the 551-1, which of course does not sport the usual Noryl scales. I'd bought my wife a 550-1 some years back and she carries that one a lot, which led me to pick up the 551-1 version as I no longer had that un-serrated blade style in my accumulation.

Following along with the theme, I got out my two Ritters and was scratching my head trying to remember their number designations which led to some internet searching and finally a tour through my stash of boxes to find that they're a 552-1401 and a 558-1402. Those are blades (and guts) only at this point as both now wear Wilkins coarse G10 scales with blood red butt spacers. My two are M390 and I'm unsure if the S30V version was just a 552-1 or a 552-400.

The 551-1 ended up in my pocket with the other two alongside when not running errands, delivering my copper cap, or finally unloading the 5 barrels-worth of scrap wood staying out of the weather under my wife's pickup tonneau cover.

Very cool knife man. What is that? The damascus one that is.
It is a Brad Zinker front flipper with mammoth covers and Damascus blade. An incredible knife I was lucky to pick up at Blade last year. Very light weight and the blade is on the larger size for the size of the handle compared to other similar knives. The details are amazing and it is a very well built knife. When I first purchased it, there was some lock stick. After some use, that issue has resolved itself and it is a very smooth knife now.

This knife has been used a bit, including acting as a divot repair tool during a golf tournament last year. Picture below from last year better shows some of the wear on the front of the blade. I keep it sharp and really enjoy this one, especially the light weight and clip design.

It's absolutely beautiful. I plan on going to Blade Show this year. I went back in 2022 and reall enjoyed it. If hes there this year I will have to stop by his table for sure!

You seriously avoided this one all this time? I woulda traded back for my Cruwear Manix lol!
Wasn’t intentional lol. Couldn’t find one for a price I was willing to pay or was too slow to grab one when they popped. Man, the Cruwear Manix you sold me is still my fav in my rotation, but if I ever let it go, I’ll hit you up. Have a great weekend!
