EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

pno6jUT.jpeg

I don’t know the first thing about photography but this pic stopped me dead in my tracks. Very crisp and clean….and the lines and details really “Pop!”

And while it’s probably a given, I’ll say it anyway….those are two mighty fine knives ya’ got there. Enjoy!

These two are so dang beautiful, they make a grown man (me) feel like cryin sometimes.

And I had a pretty crazy thing happen the other day as well that I forgot to talk about. I had been carrying my Bugout inside my waistband and the Omega spring(s) ended up breaking that day. I had 4 knives on me at work while driving around. I made a stop and didn't want to leave anything in the truck, so I quickly stashed my knives back in the spots that I had assigned them for the day. I was carrying heavy stuff and kind of jogging back to my truck, got inside, got settled down, and then saw something out of place on my jeans... It took me a second to realize what the hell had happened 😮. Luckily I had some iron-on jean patches and we're back in business 👍.

Have to make sure it's charged for the day!
I caved and went back to Imgur. If these pics are massive on anyone's device please let me know so I can look into resizing for future posts. Thanks

Anyway, today’s carry is the itty-bitty Mechforce/Krein Forager. With its 5.25” OAL and kydex sheath it’s extremely pocket friendly…..and ridiculously sharp.

That's really cool. I want a pocket fixed blade but don't know how one would fit into my life.

Oops!

Carrying the very elegant, light, and stripped down version (took off the side scale/pocket clip) of Cold Steel design called a GRIK today - I left my house and realized I had left my knives on the couch before clipping or pocketing them.

However, I have a Leatherman Wave and this GRIK in my work-sac. The LM for tools and GRIK for if I need a heavy or tough knife. Love the thumb ridge, thumb hole and the way the blade is thinned out towards the end, but also thicker at the tip only towards the spine, to make you confident in that. Tri-AD even though it's a small one, AUS-8 well done here.

That could have ended so bad! I had a Kershaw with the wave half open in my pocket, and when I put my hand in my pocket it got me, luckily it wasn't that bad. I tightened up the pivot and gave it to a friend.

Still carrying my Shirogorov F95 R18 today, along with my Kizer Mystic, until I shipped the Kizer out to Gary W. Graley Gary W. Graley for a lanyard; and then started carrying this little Civivi Gramis that came in today after I shipped the Kizer. Also my usual Benchmade Shootout in the left front pocket.
