EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Where's the dog? Kind of miss pictures of your friend everyday, just like I'm missing pictures of James and his plastic storage lids.
Especially for you. :)
To be honest, I thought the photo was bad. And I didn't post it.

While I was looking through the cabinets for computer wires, I came across dried ash branches. Last year it was cut down in my yard, and I grabbed two branches.
I decided to plan it to check the handle, and at the same time test the steel.

Ok a little out of place, but since you obliged me here’s my girl relaxing after her walk. I got her March of 2020 just as everything was closing down due to COVID. She had a rough start, animal rescue from a bleeding facility, she had spent 8 weeks in prison getting training, then down to WSU for spading. Since I had just retired she kept me active for the next couple of years. Staying on track

That's a good looking puppy, I bet she is spoiled rotten too! Give her a good scratch from me.

Picked up the Templar Excalibur for a decent price on a whim supposed to have a US powdered D2 blade 🧐... We'll see how it holds up. I gotta say for under a $100 I like it alot more than I expected too. Excellent action so far and easy to hang onto. I don't expect the finish to hold up but I don't expect to cut it any slack on the job either. For some reason I don't mind the semi serrated blade either as it's a work beater.

I got the F350 back from the shop yesterday. The lines to the transmission cooler had aged out and the tranny fluid was way too low to drive. I'd set it aside for a while, then put a few quarts in (still very low but drivable) and took it up to my mechanic who fit it into his busy schedule after a couple weeks. I had a med appointment this morning to confirm that the procedure I had over Christmas was effective, then we did our monthly bulk grocery shopping while we were up-Cape. This afternoon I re-packed the truck with those tools and gear that I'd taken out, fixed the adjuster on the passenger seat, then did a few things around the wood shop and tool trailer. The iMamba made a good bridge knife to carry on a day with a lot of different tasks and activities.

Carrying two knives that are near and dear to me. The lionsteel was purchased in Italy while on vacation with my girlfriend from a small (as in living room size) shop ran by a very nice man. The crooked river was actually my first purchase on this wonderful forum and responsible for turning a mild collecting hobby into an obsession. Here’s to many more future acquisitions! 88D6E7D2-C960-4B16-A368-B9E5C3DAABBE.jpeg
